- Troubleshoot, inspect and diagnose Liebherr machinery and components, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, engine and gearbox/drivetrain systems
- Perform machinery preparation, scheduled maintenance, repairs, overhauls, component replacement, commissioning and adjustments
- Recondition and repair equipment components and systems
- Perform pre-delivery inspections and recent and used equipment preparation
- Service machinery, including fluid checks, sampling, oil and filter checks, lubricant changes, filter replacement and greasing
- Inspect components, materials and equipment, correct them to specifications and support timely delivery programs
- Complete final verifications according to work instructions, scopes of work, communications and specifications
- Submit accurate and timely reports and technical documentation, including service reports
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment and work areas according to company policy
- Support shop repairs and other assigned duties

Requirements

- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician
- Comfortable working on a 14-days-on / 14-days-off schedule, with 12-hour shifts
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components
- Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, component exchange, repair and warranty related activities




- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
- Ability to effectively communicate detailed and complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Self-motivated with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for extended periods of time
- Fully proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite
