Location: London, ON (Servicing London, St. Thomas, Sarnia, Stratford, and surrounding areas)

Reports To: Regional Operations Manager

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Includes scheduled/rotating weekend availability)

Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 / hour (commensurate with technical experience)

Role Overview

Loyalty Markets is seeking a mechanical, hands-on Field Service Technician & Relief Route Driver to join our Southwestern Ontario team.

This hybrid role bridges high-standard equipment maintenance with operational route execution. You will spend 3 to 4 days per week executing preventative maintenance, equipment installations, and root-cause troubleshooting across our automated micro-markets, vending machines, and office coffee systems. 1 to 2 days per week, you will act as a relief Route Driver, stepping in to deliver product, restock inventory, and maintain pristine account standards.

We operate with a “Fix-It-First-Time” mindset and a strong commitment to operational excellence. If you are self-motivated, take pride in technical accuracy, and thrive in an autonomous field environment, this role offers direct stability and clear internal promotion pathways.

Key Responsibilities.

1. Technical Field Service & Preventative Maintenance (3–4 Days/Week)

- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance, sanitization, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repairs on micro-markets, smart coolers, commercial coffee equipment, and vending units.
- Root-Cause Discipline:

Focus on eliminating repeat service calls by completing full-system diagnostics and verifying equipment operation before leaving site.
- Installations & Asset Care: Assist with asset deployments, equipment moves, and extractions while safeguarding customer property and company assets.
- Inventory & Parts Management: Maintain an organized, lean inventory of spare parts in your service vehicle to maximize First-Time Fix Rates.

1. Route Operations & Relief Driving (1–2 Days/Week)

- Replenishment & Merchandising: Execute route delivery days by loading, driving, and systematically restocking micro-markets, vending, and coffee stations to full standard.
- Food Safety & Quality Control: Strictly adhere to food safety protocols—inspecting expiration dates, maintaining cold-chain integrity, and enforcing site sanitization routines.
- Real-Time Data Audit: Utilize handheld scanners/software to log accurate inventory, track spoils, and record refunds in real time.

1. Operational Excellence & Client Service

- Client Relations: Represent the company professionally on customer sites, resolving minor operational complaints on the spot.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all corporate vehicle policies,

Highway Traffic Act rules, and Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Technical Background: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in equipment repair, mechanical troubleshooting, commercial coffee service, vending, or HVAC/refrigeration maintenance preferred.
- Licensing & Insurability: Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver’s Licence with a clean driving abstract suitable for corporate fleet insurance coverage.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs consistently, perform physical labor (bending, reaching, standing), and operate route delivery equipment.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check as required for entry into secure enterprise client facilities.
- Execution Mindset: Strong personal discipline, punctuality, and an insistence on continuous improvement and cleanliness.

What We Offer
- Competitive Hourly Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00/hr based on experience.
- Fully Maintained Fleet Vehicle: Provided for business-related travel and field dispatch.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Health and wellness support, paid time off, and employee product discounts.
- Career Growth: We prioritize internal promotion for high performers who demonstrate leadership and root-cause problem-solving capabilities.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week

Benefits

- Casual dress
- Discounted or free food
- In office parking
