We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions with proper cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces
- Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing customer needs promptly and courteously
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations required
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or hospitality roles is beneficial
- Robust communication skills for guest interactions and team collaboration
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior kitchen or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory
