Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash transactions with precision, giving correct change and maintaining balanced cash drawers
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage food handling procedures carefully to ensure freshness and safety for all customers
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Experience with cashiering systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous; serving experience is a plus
