Restaurant is one of IRC’s flagship ventures, offering a unique dining experience that blends traditional Inuvialuit flavors with contemporary cuisine. Servers are key in ensuring guests enjoy a welcoming and memorable dining experience by delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities include taking orders, providing personalized service, maintaining a clean dining environment, and supporting front-of-house operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Maintain a clean and organized dining area to uphold the restaurant's reputation for quality. Respond to guest inquiries regarding reservations and restaurant policies.

Shift Times: Server positions are scheduled across multiple shifts.



While the current shift structure is outlined below, please note that it may be adjusted based on operational needs. Applicants must be available to work a combination of the following shifts: Morning Shifts Weekdays (Mon-Fri): 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM Evening Shifts Weekdays (Mon-Fri): 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays, based on restaurant needs.

Experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant setting is an asset. Safe Serve certification (or willingness to obtain) Dependable and able to work scheduled shifts. You can indicate your shift availability—whether it’s full-time, part-time, or just once in awhile when applying.

Previous restaurant experience. Safe Serve and/or Food Protected Level 1 Certifications. ~ Don’t have Food Safe or Safe Serve yet? Mamaqtuq will pay for your training and certification. The position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
