Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced framer and Drywaller to join our commercial construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in metal framing, drywall installation , and finishing work (mudding, taping, and sanding) . This position requires proven experience working on commercial high-rise projects and the ability to complete tasks to high-quality standards while meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities

- Installing the metal and wooden frame (studs and tracks) for drywall installation

- Hang drywall steel framing efficiently and accurately on walls and ceilings

- Knowledge of different type of fire rated shaft wall institution (framing, shaft panels and drywall)

- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout plans

- Ensure work meets commercial building codes, city codes and safety standards

- Work collaboratively with other trades and site supervisors

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

- Complete tasks on schedule while maintaining quality workmanship

Requirements





- Proven experience with commercial high-rise construction

- Skilled in mudding, taping, and sanding

- Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications

- Familiarity with commercial construction tools and equipment

- Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights

- Solid attention to detail and workmanship

- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Preferred Qualifications

- OSHA certification or relevant safety training

- Working at heights

- Experience working in occupied or fast-paced commercial environments

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
