Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing and concrete forming tasks
- Construct and install wood and metal frameworks for walls, floors, roofs, and other structures using hand tools and power tools
- Perform concrete finishing and forming activities to create durable foundations and structures
- Install drywall, siding, and other exterior/interior cladding materials with precision
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes safely to move materials around the job site
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces
- Use welding techniques when necessary for structural reinforcement or custom fabrication
- Conduct heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics and teamwork standards

Skills




- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics
- Strong knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, and drywall installation techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, woodworking equipment, and welding equipment
- Experience with siding installation and general carpentry practices
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, bending, and working at heights when needed
- Familiarity with construction safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Positive communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors

Experience:
- Framing carpentry: 2 years (preferred)
