Global Financial Firm located in Mississauga, ON has a 1 to 2+ year consulting opportunity for a Full Stack Developer.

OVERVIEW OF POSITION:

The team is responsible for the design and build-out (and ongoing support) of a global, multi-entity, multi-region cash management and forecasting application used to service the client's business areas. System is built using oracle and java technologies, runs 24 x 6, processes a millions of transactions monthly, services 200+ users and interacts with 50+ systems in batch and real-time. It provide a variety of utilities (online, workflow, electronic, reporting) to facilitate a scalable and controlled operational setting for our clients.

The incumbent will be responsible for hands-on build, development and (as needed) level 3 support relating to the ongoing build-out of this franchise-critical platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understanding the business area and user requirements - Study and understand the existing programs

- Performing program design, coding and Development - Performing unit and integration testing

- Producing documentation based on the company's standards.

- Evaluation and Recommendation for new technologies and updating versions of existing ones.

- Design (and leverage where exists) reusable frameworks - Environment management and layout design.

- Unified Development setting (Developers systems as well as servers) - Continuous Integrations Building / maintaining





Required Skills / Experience:

- 8+ years with Core Java / J2EE Web Applications with following mandatory

- Solid programming, hands-on experience on UI Design and Implementation, Code Management

- Working experience at least in Full Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) project is required, experience working in an Agile environment is preferred

Required Stack / Technology (Highlighted Tech is a MUST):

- J2EE/JEE Technologies (JavaServerPagers, Servlets, CSS, Enterprise Java Beans)

- Spring Framework Knowledge (Spring batch / Hibernate preferred)

- Microservices / Webservices knowledge

- Relational Database Knowledge (Oracle or SQL)

- Multi-threading Experience

- Angular / JSON / JavaScript / AJAX knowledge

- Messaging Services (IBM MQ / JMS / EMS preferred)

- Unix Scripting

- Bachelor's degree in related field

Additional / Nice to have requirements:

- Swift Coding experience

- IBM Websphere experience

- GIT / JIRA / TeamCity /uDeploy experience

- Jasper reporting experience

- Experience with a global Capital markets platforms and experienced in Treasury and/or Cash management functions preferred

- Ability to work directly with clients on gathering and documenting business requirements
