Become a valued member of our team, maintaining the gardens and planters for our clients.

Some task are including but not limited to the following:

- Weeding & cultivating flower beds
- Edging flower beds
- Pruning, deadheading, staking and dividing plants
- Planting and maintenance of annuals in gardens and containers
- Planting perennials and shrubs in recent landscapes
- Watering & fertilizing gardens
- Spreading topsoil and mulch

The successful applicant will:

- Possess a interest in gardening, enjoys physical work and working outdoors in nature
- Be physically fit and energetic with outstanding work ethic. Able to lift, bend and carry effectively. Able to be active all day and walk for long periods of time.
- Possess an attention to detail
- Be willing to listen, learn, follow direction
- Be willing and able to work outside in all weather
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Possess interpersonal skills and ability to connect positively with other crew members

Job Type





- Seasonal work, early April to November
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Healthy and safe workplace

- CSA approved steel toed boots required. All other safety equipment supplied. Uniforms provided at no cost
- Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act

Location

- You must have your own, reliable transport to get to our shop each morning in Port Carling
- We are not accessible by public transport
- Please only apply if you are willing and able to commute to our location

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

- High School Diploma
- Clean G or G2 drivers license preferred but not essential
- Previous experience working with plants, farm work or outdoors in any physical job an asset but not essential. We are happy to train a willing and keen person.

Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

- Muskoka Lakes, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
