Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up work areas
- Perform general manual labour such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials or equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by disposing of debris and waste properly
- Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools, supplies, or materials as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Operate basic machinery or equipment under supervision when required
- Participate in site inspections and report any hazards or issues immediately
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour is a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment
