Pampered Pups is looking for a reliable, hardworking and upbeat Grooming Assistant to join our team!
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with dogs, takes pride in their work, and is interested in becoming a long-term member of our team.
What We’re Looking For
· Experience bathing, drying and brushing out all sizes and breeds of dogs
· Comfortable safely handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments
· Able to lift 50+ lbs
· Comfortable performing nail trims and nail grinds
· Able to work independently and stay productive without constant direction
· Someone who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative
· Reliable, punctual and hardworking
· No drama — we value a positive, respectful workplace
· Friendly, happy and upbeat personality
· Someone who works well as part of a team and wants to stay with us long-term
Additional Responsibilities
Along with assisting with grooming, duties will include:
· Cleaning and maintaining the salon
· Answering phones
· Responding to Facebook messages
· Booking appointments
· Helping keep the salon organized and running smoothly
· Assisting the groomers wherever needed
Compensation & Hours:
$18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience to start.
This position will be part-time to start, with the expectation and opportunity to move into full time hours for the right person. Hours are 8-4, two - three shifts per week.
