Since launching in 2020, we’ve grown rapidly and are now expanding with the vision of becoming the modern automotive group, offering subscriptions, leasing, sales, and fleet management for both consumers and businesses. Our mission is to improve the way people access and own cars because we believe mobility is an essential part of modern life.

Visit
Roam’s website for more information: We’re looking for a highly driven, analytical, and tech‑savvy Head of Growth to own growth across Roam’s business lines, including subscriptions, leasing, sales, and fleet management. This is a full‑stack growth and marketing role spanning acquisition, conversion, retention, brand, product, data, and technology. You should be equally comfortable setting direction, launching a campaign, improving a funnel, analyzing data, and iterating based on what you learn.
You’ll be expected to experiment broadly and pursue whatever can drive meaningful growth, online or offline. You’ll help Roam achieve some of our most ambitious growth objectives: scaling our B2C and B2B customer bases to support a fleet of 5,000 vehicles, developing the strategy and tactics to enter new markets and become a national business, and building Roam into one of the best‑known brands in the Canadian automotive market. Ultimately,
you’ll be responsible for building the growth engine that helps Roam scale into one of Canada's largest automotive companies.
Build and optimize the full customer journey, from awareness and acquisition through conversion, retention, and expansion. Scale customer acquisition while improving the efficiency of our growth engine, including CAC, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value. Identify, test, and scale growth channels and tactics across both digital and offline marketing, including paid media, organic, content, partnerships, referrals, events, PR, direct mail, out‑of‑home, TV, and emerging channels.
Build and launch campaigns, creative assets, landing pages, funnels, growth loops, referral programs, loyalty programs, and lifecycle programs. Develop and test pricing, packaging, promotions, and offers to improve acquisition, conversion, retention, and unit economics.
Build
Roam into a nationally recognized automotive brand by increasing awareness, consideration, and trust. Build and execute the growth playbook for entering new cities and provinces, including market research, positioning, launch strategy, channel selection, and local execution. Use data to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, measure results, and rapidly iterate.
You have 7+ years of growth or marketing experience, including meaningful experience in high‑growth startups.
You have a demonstrated track record of helping scale a business through multiple stages of growth, ideally from the $1–10M revenue range toward or beyond $100M. You can point to specific, measurable outcomes you personally drove across revenue, customer growth, acquisition, conversion, retention, or unit economics.
You’ve been the sole or primary growth or marketing contributor at an early‑stage company. You’re comfortable figuring out what needs to be done, building from scratch, and executing it yourself. You’ve built and scaled customer acquisition engines, discovered new growth channels or tactics, and grown volume while maintaining or improving unit economics.
You’re channel agnostic and comfortable working across digital and offline growth. You’re highly technical and use modern growth technology, analytics, automation, and AI to move faster and accomplish more with fewer resources. You have robust creative instincts and understand how positioning, messaging, brand, performance marketing, and creative work together to drive growth.
You’re comfortable doing the work yourself and building a team once you’ve proven where additional resources will create leverage. We thrive on solving complex problems, moving fast, and delivering customer experiences that are remarkable. 175k to $225k total earnings with performance bonuses. ~ Equity in a profitable, fast‑growing company. ~4 weeks of paid vacation. ~ Flexible, hybrid work style - split time between in‑office and remote. ~ Growth Deep Dive & Team Interviews: Walk us through the businesses you’ve helped grow, what you personally owned, the decisions you made, and the measurable results you produced.
