Products is recruiting for a

Heavy Duty Mechanic/HET.

This position offers a challenging, diverse, and exciting opportunity to join our team.

Job duties will fall within our Mobile Shop department.

You’ll Do

Perform various tasks related to the safe and efficient application of technical skills and knowledge of a Heavy Duty Mechanic/HET.

Repair and maintain industrial equipment, including Log Loaders, Wheel Loaders, Forklifts, Log Trucks, Walking Floor, and Dump Trucks.

Maintain other mobile equipment used in the manufacture of lumber.

Continually maintain the quality and standards of service to safety and production.

You have

A valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson mechanic or HET certification

Apprentices are encouraged to apply

Ability to read manuals and schematics

Capable of using diagnostic systems, Cat, Kenworth

Proven working knowledge of Hydraulics and electrical systems

Commitment to working safely and creating a safe workplace

Ability to work independently with little supervision

Flexible schedule for day, evening and weekend shifts

Experience working in a fleet shop

Cummins and Cat engine experience

Compensation Package

The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
