Our Winnipeg ITH (In-the-Hole) Center of Excellence is the Global OEM Manufacturer of our Underground ITH Drills and Support units. This role is well suited for a certified electrician who wants to apply their electrical expertise in a heavy equipment manufacturing environment and gain hands-on experience with world-class underground mining equipment.

As an Electrician, you will work with high- and low-voltage electrical systems, electrical assemblies, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and testing on Sandvik mobile mining equipment. Are you a certified electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, reading electrical schematics, and working hands-on with complex equipment? This role offers the opportunity to expand beyond traditional electrical work, develop specialized knowledge of OEM mining equipment, and work alongside experienced tradespeople, technicians, and engineers.

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to determine faults and malfunctions. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.

Inspect equipment for proper performance and identify required repairs. Repair or replace defective electrical components, parts, and systems according to scopes of work. Test repaired equipment to ensure safe and proper operational performance.

Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, parts listings, and drawing revisions. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and stay current with product and technical developments.

Health and Safety Complies with Sandvik Mining safety policies and applicable government, customer, or industry regulations and requirements. Maintains an orderly work area and ensures housekeeping requirements are met.

Attends

Environmental, Health and Safety related training.
