Responsibilities:

-Operate various heavy equipment, including excavator, loaders, and forklifts in a scrap yard workplace

-Efficiently handle and process scrap materials, ensuring safety and adherence to company procedures

-Sort and segregate materials according to type and quality

-Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimum functionality

-Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals

-Safely load and unload materials from company and customer vehicles and trailers

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an equipment operator
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.

-Strong communication and teamwork skills.



-Material Handler experience is a plus but willing to train the right person.
