Heavy Truck Driver (Permanent Full Time)

City of Estevan – Estevan, SK, Canada. Full Time on site position.

Reports To: Roads & Drainage Foreperson. Business Division: Roads and Drainage Division.

Number of Positions: 1 (One). Length of Position: Permanent Full time.

Duties

Operates and maintains heavy trucks and other equipment such as Tandem and Three-Ton Trucks, Skid Steer Ladder Truck.

Maintains assigned equipment, tools, and vehicles.

Logs and records information such as pre-trip vehicle inspections.

Performs labour and other tasks as required.

Education and Credentials

Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Airbrake Endorsement.

Experience and Additional Requirements

1 year of relevant work experience.

Ability to drive standard transmission vehicles up to 13 speed.

The following credential would be considered an asset: Valid Class 1A Driver’s License with Airbrake Endorsement.

Salary

This position has a starting salary of $ 31.18 per hour in accordance with the 2026 CUPE rates.

Other Notes

Job will be advertised for a minimum of 7 days as per CBA.

The position shall be filled in accordance with the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and CUPE Local 726.
