The role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications, integrating these scripts into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with developers, business analysts, and QE leads to define test strategies. The candidate will perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for complex workflows, optimize automation frameworks, mentor junior QE associates, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in Playwright for web automation.
- Robust programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript; familiarity with Python is a plus.
- Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of QE principles, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with API testing, cross-browser testing, and performance testing.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with Java, Spring, Selenium, REST, API.
- Proficiency in test planning and automation testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues quickly.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Background in optimizing automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
