Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests and staff
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate personnel promptly
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to custodial work and chemical handling
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold high standards of hygiene
Experience
- Prior custodial or housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated newcomers
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
