Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay. Your attention to detail will contribute significantly to our mission of providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

- - Sweep, mop and wash floors
- Wax and polish floors
- Dust furniture
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Make beds and change sheets
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Stock linen closet
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen fixtures and appliances
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Clean and disinfect elevators, Handle and report lost and found items
- Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
- Provide basic information on facilities
- Handle complaints
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings
- Ensure that assigned bedrooms, corridors, vending areas and other areas are properly cleaned daily.
- Ensure that proper key controls are in effect.




- Ensure that Lost and Found articles are stored properly and that the correct logs are maintained.
- Be accountable and responsible of the cleanliness of all public areas.
- Is familiar with and follows all hotel safety and accident prevention procedures.
- Follow provided checklists to ensure that all standards are maintained consistently
- Report any issues to supervisors or maintenance
- Other tasks as assigned
- Wash and dry terry and sheets.

Requirements

- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding hospitality.
