Make a difference as a Housing Locator at the Calgary Drop-In Centre. Help vulnerable community members secure housing and access essential resources in Calgary, Alberta. This full-time, contract position reports to the Coordinator of Housing Support.

You will build relationships with landlords, maintain a housing directory, and assist clients in their transition to permanent housing. This role is crucial for supporting individuals in achieving secure living conditions while promoting independence and dignity. Key Responsibilities:

- Cultivate relationships with landlords and housing providers
- Maintain an up-to-date housing directory for clients
- Assist clients in securing and sustaining housing
- Provide clients with essential resources and referrals
- Document client interactions and housing outcomes accurately

Requirements:

- Valid class 5 Alberta driver’s license
- Compassionate attitude and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of Calgary community resources
- Commitment to the agency’s mission and values
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
