Shape engaging online learning at the Online Learning & Continuing Education team in Edmonton. As an Instructional Designer, collaborate with experts to create impactful educational experiences. In this hybrid role, you will report to the Manager of Continuing Education Curriculum Strategy and Quality.
Your focus will be on developing high-quality online courses for both credit and non-credit programs. You'll work with academics and subject matter experts to design learner-centered digital experiences that ensure accessibility and integrate Indigenous Initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Design engaging online courses for diverse learners
- Collaborate with SMEs and instructors for course development
- Ensure quality assurance during the course creation process
- Apply best practices in instructional design and accessibility
- Integrate community and belonging principles in course content Requirements:
- Experience in instructional design for online learning
- Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles
- Strong cooperative skills with academic teams
- Understanding of Indigenous Initiatives in education
- Ability to deliver learner-centered educational experiences Utilize your expertise in instructional design to create meaningful learning journeys for students in Edmonton.
