This energetic role offers the opportunity to provide personalized care, promote independence, and enhance quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. As a dedicated caregiver, you will deliver essential assistance with daily activities, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for every client you serve.

Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to foster independence and well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities diligently
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental health
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a tidy living space
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques using proper body mechanics and equipment when necessary
- Monitor health status, report changes promptly to healthcare professionals or family members,



and assist with basic nursing tasks as trained

Skills

- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care environments with a focus on senior or hospice care
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to handle individuals with disabilities or dementia compassionately and effectively
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or transfers
- Excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Experience working with individuals experiencing dementia or other cognitive impairments is highly valued
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness through cleaning routines that support a healthy living environment
