Join GFL Environmental as an Industrial Services Technician in Thunder Bay, where you'll monitor safety and conduct specialized industrial cleaning tasks. Operate various equipment and ensure site cleanliness daily. In this full-time role, you will oversee environmental and safety monitoring and engage in a variety of duties, including operating forklifts and power washers.
Your responsibilities will also include administrative tasks, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and performing industrial cleaning of both non-hazardous and hazardous waste. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor assigned projects and ensure compliance
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and shop area
- Perform power washing and high-pressure blasting
- Conduct drain and pipe inspections as needed
- Assist with Vacuum Trucks and plant operations
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of industrial cleaning experience preferred
- Proficient with vacuum trucks and power-washing
- Class G driver’s license required
- Ability to work versatile shifts and in confined spaces
- Comfortable using respirators in various environments
