Our team is looking for a full-time Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer who is driven to deliver their best work every day and are committed to working collaboratively to achieve shared goals. Field instrumentation and control system design and control strategy development Prepare technical documentation required for the execution of projects, including but not limited to: standard specifications, design criteria, P&IDs;, schematics, loop drawings, instrument datasheets, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, installation details,
control narratives, network diagrams, cable schedule, instrument list, equipment list Development and management of instrumentation and control system procurement packages Review shop drawings to ensure conformity with engineering designs Manage scope, schedule, and budgets for control and automation work on projects Assist in field engineering and commissioning on site as required. Tech. (5+ years working specifically within the I&C;/Automation engineering discipline ~ Some project engineering experience is considered an asset ~ Previous experience with both the FEED and detailed design processes is considered an asset ~ Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team (office is very team based, so collaboration is key) ~ Be available for field work as needed (10-20%) ~ Candidates must have relevant experience to the Albertan and broader Canadian oil and gas industry. All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, be a resident, and residing in Calgary or be willing to relocate to Calgary, to be considered for the position.
