Position Scope

The Inventory Clerk maintains accurate tracking of all stock from its arrival, production processing and final shipment. Following parameters from the Production Planner, the Clerk selects product, logs detailed production schedules, prints required shipping/production labels,



and communicates live schedule updates to minimize operational downtime. Responsibilities also include keeping inventory using our internal computer system, creating lot tags, and enforcing strict FIFO inventory rotation.

Additionally, the Clerk conducts physical audits of warehouse space, ensures forklift operators complete product movement paperwork, cross-trains with inventory auditor, and actively participating in continuous improvement for system efficiencies.

- Office setting with exposure to plant operations.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Regular exposure to cold storage environments.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent.
- Post secondary education would be considered an asset.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy is required.
- Previous inventory experience is considered an asset.
