Drive efficiency in inventory management as a Transit Inventory Specialist with the City of Hamilton. This role involves overseeing parts sourcing, inventory control, and supporting fleet maintenance operations. In this position, you will report directly to the Superintendent, Transit Maintenance Capital Planning and Contracts.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, ordering, storing, and issuing materials, as well as conducting physical inventory counts. The role requires a solid understanding of inventory management systems and involves working in a dynamic transit workplace. Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain electronic inventory records accurately
- Order and receive materials, ensuring proper inspection




- Research and identify replacement parts from various sources
- Prepare requisitions related to inventory transactions
- Coordinate warranty and core return activities with suppliers Requirements:
- Experience with inventory control procedures
- Familiarity with computerized asset management systems
- Valid Class "G" Ontario Driver's license
- Certification for material handling equipment use
- Ability to perform physical tasks in an industrial setting Bring your expertise in inventory and logistics to support the City of Hamilton’s transit operations.
