We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Spring Boot and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications, data pipelines, and integrations that support enterprise-level analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Integrate Java applications with Snowflake using JDBC or APIs for data access and transformation.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to move and process data efficiently in Snowflake.
- Build and design data models within Snowflake, including fact and dimension tables for analytics.
- Write and tune complex SQL queries to support data-driven applications.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product managers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using containerization tools like Docker.
- Promote best practices in performance tuning, data governance, and security.
Required Skills
- Core Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Snowflake
- Experience: 8–10 years in backend and data engineering roles
- Proficiency in SQL, JPA/Hibernate, and microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling
- Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP) preferred
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
