As a Journeyman Glazier Supervisor, ensure high-quality installations while mentoring apprentices in a supportive environment. Northerm is seeking a Journeyman Glazier Supervisor to oversee installation and mentoring at our Yukon facility.
You will lead a team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer satisfaction while performing installation of windows, doors, and specialty glass. This position involves hands-on training and emphasizes the importance of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and install glazing products in commercial settings
- Supervise and mentor Glazier Apprentices and Installers
- Perform quality assurance inspections on completed work
- Ensure safe operation of hand and power tools
- Assist in resolving customer concerns regarding installations
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Glazier Certification (Red Seal or equivalent)
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean record
- 3-5 years glazing experience in commercial projects
- Proficient in reading shop and construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
