- Salary: $43.75 to $44.61 HOUR hourly (To be negotiated) / 60 to 100 hours bi-weekly

Responsibilities

- Install underground wiring and cables
- Splice, join and connect wires
- Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
- Troubleshoot and isolate faults
- Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
- Instruct apprentices
- Supervise other workers
- Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Qualifications

- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
- Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional electrical devices, High voltage equipment, Motors and controls
- Area of specialization: Fire alarm system
- Basic security clearance




- Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Valid driver's licence
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Tight deadlines
- Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
