Matrix HR is actively seeking dedicated Journeyperson and Apprentice Electricians to join a dynamic team for an exciting commercial new build project in Lethbridge, Alberta. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a significant local development, offering a minimum of 2 to 3 months of steady work. Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on a commercial new build site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure all work adheres to Canadian Electrical Code and local regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with other trades and site personnel.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and quality in all tasks.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and components as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician ticket or active Apprentice registration.
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Certifications Required
- Fall Protection
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
- WHMIS 2025
- Worker Health and Safety Awareness (4 or 5 Steps)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Committed to maintaining high safety standards on site.
Compensation & Advantages
- Journeyperson Rate: $42.26 per hour
- Apprentice Rates: $21.13 per hour – $33.80 per hour (based on experience and level)
