Matrix HR is hiring Journeyperson Pipefitters for a major industrial project in Alberta. This is a well-compensated short-term contract with a strong daily rate, overtime pay, and a Living Out Allowance, making it an excellent prospect for experienced Pipefitters looking for high-earning project work.

What We Offer:

- Pay rate of $44.00/hr with overtime at $66.00/hr

- Night shift premium of $2.50/hr

- Living Out Allowance (LOA) of $165.00/day

- Travel pay of 2 hours per day at regular rate while using project bussing

- Mobilisation allowance based on one-way travel distance

- Schedule of 6 days on / 1 day off

- Day shifts (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) or night shifts (7:00 PM to 5:00 AM)

- Project start date of August 3, with travel on August 2; project runs until approximately September 15

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in an industrial setting

- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping specifications

- Perform fitting, assembly,



and alignment of pipe systems and components

- Work safely in confined spaces, at heights, and in compliance with all site safety requirements

- Collaborate with project teams to meet schedule and quality standards

Qualifications:

- Journeyperson Pipefitter certificate required

- Current and valid safety tickets: CSTS, Confined Space, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, Aerial Lift, and H2S Alive

- Previous experience on industrial construction or maintenance projects

- Ability to work a 6 days on / 1 day off schedule including day or night shifts

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Matrix HR is unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
