Join AltaSteel as a safety-focused Journeyperson Welder, integral to our Maintenance team. Support production by executing timely welding repairs and engaging in fabrication projects in our fab shop. As a Journeyperson Welder at AltaSteel, you will apply your skills to perform structural repairs on various plant equipment.

You will work primarily with SMAW and FCAW processes on mild steel, along with stainless steel and aluminum when required. This full-time role comes with employer paid benefits and a rotational shift schedule. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform structural welding repairs on plant infrastructure
- Deliver high-quality work to support production areas
- Complete fabrication and rebuild projects efficiently
- Weld using SMAW and FCAW techniques
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately Requirements:
- Journeyman Alberta Welder or Red Seal certification
- CWB certified for SMAW in all positions
