WSP has a new opportunity for a Project Controller to join our Remediation Program Management team based in Edmonton or Calgary.
The Project
Controller will support the successful delivery of projects by providing oversight of project cost, schedule, forecasting, risk, and performance reporting.
The Project
Controller works closely with Project Managers, Project Accountants, and project teams to ensure projects remain on track, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and schedules. Monitor cost, schedule, and project performance against approved baselines.
Perform variance analysis and identify discrepancies between planned and actual performance. Support project setup, planning, estimating, and resource forecasting activities.
Prepare and maintain project performance reports, dashboards, and status updates.
Assist with tracking of project KPIs. Coordinate project review meetings and support project governance processes. Monitor project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring appropriate escalation when required.
Review work-in-progress (WIP), accounts receivable, invoicing status, and project financial health. Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Accountants to update forecasts and implement corrective actions. Support budget re-baselining, change management processes, and project closeout activities.
Ensure compliance with organizational project controls procedures and financial controls. Minimum 3 years of experience in project controls, project finance, cost control, scheduling, or project management support. Preferably in the environmental consulting industry.
