Duties

- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions to ensure quality and consistency
- Handle food safely by adhering to hygiene standards, proper storage procedures, and sanitation protocols
- Serve food efficiently to customers or staff in a timely manner while maintaining high service standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately




- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels needed for meal prep
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to assist with meal preparation and cooking tasks with attention to detail
- Strong understanding of the food industry’s best practices for cleanliness and safety
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers or colleagues
- Kitchen experience that demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and adaptability
