Support student learning at Algonquin College as a Lab Assistant in the Medical Device Reprocessing program. This part-time role requires excellent communication and medical device knowledge. As part of the Wellness Department, the Lab Assistant reports to the Chair of Wellness Research & Innovation.
This position involves aiding student learning in a simulated classroom environment. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and a transparent understanding of student conduct to excel in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with student learning activities in a lab environment
- Support Medical Device Reprocessing program initiatives
- Maintain classroom organization and student engagement
- Implement conflict resolution strategies as needed
- Use Microsoft Office tools for communication and documentation Requirements:
- One year certificate in Medical Device Reprocessing
- Three years general experience; one year as a Technician
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
