Make a difference in mental health and emergency response as the Lead for FNHA on Vancouver Island. This permanent role emphasizes collaboration for culturally responsive care. You will coordinate mental health supports alongside community leaders, partners, and FNHA teams.
Your expertise will help develop emergency strategies that reflect community strengths and priorities. With at least three years supporting mental health initiatives, this position is vital for enhancing community resilience across Vancouver Island. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate mental health and crisis response protocols
- Develop emergency preparedness and recovery plans
- Collaborate with community leaders and health partners
- Provide trauma-informed support and expertise
- Strengthen community wellness initiatives across regions Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in health or social sciences
- 3-5 years in mental health or crisis settings
- Current registration with a Professional Body preferred
- Experience with Indigenous or rural communities
- Robust understanding of harm reduction practices Utilize your skills in mental health and crisis management to strengthen wellness in First Nations communities.
