Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify structural, mechanical, electrical, and or cosmetic issues. ~ Use diagnostic tools, equipment, and technical manuals to accurately pinpoint problems and execute effective repairs. ~ Complete structural and cosmetic repairs, including body and framework, panel replacement, bumpers, suspension systems, brakes, exhaust systems, occupant restraint systems, and heating/cooling systems. ~ Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed for body, frame, or component repairs. ~ Collaborate closely with estimators, painters, and fellow technicians to ensure workflow efficiency and quality standards are met or exceeded. ~ Document all work performed using shop software (body shop connect) and maintain accurate repair records. ~ Stay up to date with advancements in automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.
