We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Plumber to join our team!

At Fonthill Plumbing, we handle anything involving water. We work on residential and commercial projects, including new installations, emergency repairs, plumbing rough-ins, custom home builds, and renovations.

Our services range from sewer camera inspections and locating, water heater services, faucet repairs, and leak detection to sump pump installation, water supply, and water purification. We also take a proactive approach to protecting our customers’ properties by implementing flood-prevention and water-management systems designed to reduce the risk of flooding, water damage, and plumbing emergencies.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair,



and maintain plumbing systems across a variety of residential and commercial projects.
- Follow all safety protocols and building codes to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Ensure plumbing systems meet customer specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and proper heavy-lifting techniques to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate project work.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or leaks and promptly complete any necessary repairs.
- Document completed work through detailed reports and update schematics or blueprints as needed.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate of Apprenticeship.
- Certificate of Qualification.
- Valid journeyman license.
- Valid G driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance in residential or commercial settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, schematics, and assembly processes.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply basic math skills to measurements and calculations.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and proper heavy lifting techniques.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined or elevated spaces for extended periods.

Notes

- We work between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday with the opportunity to work overtime.
- Company vehicle and tools are provided.
- Paid vacation.

Pay: $37.00-$42.00 per hour Expected hours: 34.0 – 44.0 per week
