Lightning Protection Installer/Technician - Island Lightning Rod Co. Ltd
Island Lightning Rod Co. Ltd. was incorporated in 1975, and specializes in the installation of lightning protection systems for all types of commercial, industrial and residential structures throughout Atlantic Canada.
Location
Various job sites on PEI, with travel to sites in Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick as needed
Responsibilities
Install and repair lightning protection systems on commercial, residential, and industrial properties while completing job specific labour tasks.
Organizing and restocking of material orders.
Maintaining cleanliness of job sites, trailers, and warehouse.
Qualifications
No minimum level of education or job experience required.
Experience in construction, electrical trades, or outdoor work is an asset.
Valid drivers license with no restrictions.
Motivated, reliable, honest and ability to work as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
Ability to work at heights is required.
Subject to obtaining Reliability Security Clearance issued by the Government of Canada upon hiring, required to gain access to some job sites.

All travel expenses are covered including hotels, transportation, and meals.
Compensation
Wage dependent on construction or related experience and skill level. E.g. Operation of boom/scissor lifts. Out of province travel expenses covered.
