Role Description The Line Cook is a full-time, on-site role based in Sudbury, ON, responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include chopping and measuring ingredients, operating kitchen equipment safely, and ensuring dishes are prepared and plated consistently.

The Line

Cook will maintain a clean, organized work station, follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, and assist with inventory, storage, and rotation of ingredients.



This role collaborates closely with kitchen staff to support smooth service, communicates promptly about shortages or issues, and helps with prep work before and after peak hours.

Cook may also contribute to menu improvements and support training of new kitchen team members as needed.

Qualifications - Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards, including proper storage and labeling practices.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow directions and collaborate with kitchen and service staff.
- Good time-management and organizational abilities to support consistent plating, portion control, and timely order completion.
- Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred; culinary training or certification is an asset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and comply with all health, safety, and company procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
