Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety and handling practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests.

Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.




- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, cooking techniques, and meal preparation processes.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Part time Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
