You will work in a collaborative environment where analysis, creativity, and initiative are valued. Lead logistics optimization projects (transportation, warehousing, distribution network). Conduct performance analyses and profitability studies (business cases, ROI).
Design and model logistics solutions (sizing, layouts, internal and external material flows, equipment requirements). Develop tools and processes to optimize logistics costs. Collaborate with our various plants worldwide as well as with multidisciplinary teams.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: ~ A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, operations management, or logistics is required, along with one to three years of relevant experience. ~* The ability to communicate with internal stakeholders located outside of Quebec or in English on a daily basis. Knowledge of Spanish (an asset). Knowledge of transportation, internal logistics, and product distribution to customers.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP, AutoCAD, and CATIA (an asset). Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical information for non-experts. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The ability to travel outside of Canada (2-4 times per year).
