- Teach fundamental machining and fabrication techniques
- Demonstrate correct use of equipment and tools
- Approve student designs and monitor machining safety
- Supervise compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain machine shop equipment and inventory

Requirements:

- High School Diploma and relevant trades certification
- 7+ years of metalworking machinery experience
- Extensive teaching and mentoring background
- Skilled in machining and fabrication methods
- Knowledge of CNC machinery operation preferred

Lead students in mastering machining skills and ensuring safety in a supportive setting at the University of Waterloo.
