As a full time Mammography Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment, you will operate mammographic and ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
You'll be responsible for ensuring patient safety and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team while adhering to professional standards and guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate mammography and ultrasound units for patient imaging
- Ensure patient-centered care during every procedure
- Communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary environment
- Travel to various sites,
including the Nova Scotia Breast Screening Mobile Unit
- Maintain a culture of safety and compliance in operations Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Radiological Technology
- CAMRT certification and NSCMIRTP licensure
- Willingness to pursue continuing education in mammography
- Basic Life Support Certification
