We are looking for a skilled, customer-focused Marine Technician who can diagnose, maintain and repair our customer’s boats. If you can handle a fast-paced setting and are focused on delivering quality work, we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

● Perform Advanced Diagnostics: Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on inboard, outboard and sterndrive marine engines.

● Execute Quality Repairs: Perform engine overhauls, fuel system services, gearcase repairs, and routine preventative maintenance.

● Complete Warranty Work: Understand manufacturer warranty coverage and complete work to the exacting standards of the manufacturer.

● Document Repairs: Maintain clear, accurate records of work completed on each boat, the time required to do the work and the parts required to complete the repair.



Your description helps the service writer communicate the work done by the Service Advisor to the customer.

Qualifications and Requirements

● 5+ years of mechanical repair experience at a high paced dealership or high-volume repair centre.

● Diagnostic Mastery: Strong proficiency with computer diagnostic software, and general comfort level with using computers and computer software.

● Electrical Expertise: Deep understanding of 12V electrical systems, wiring schematics and circuitry.

● Highly Driven: Proven track record of meeting service metrics.

● Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to stay calm in a demanding environment.

● Teamwork: The team is small and close knit. Your willingness to help others and to learn from others is critical.

● Boating License: Must possess or be willing to obtain a Boating License.
