Pay or shift range: $75,000 CAD to $85,000 CAD Our typical hiring range will be +/- 5% of the midpoint shown above.Social Media & Content Specialist Nch'ḵay̓ Development Corporation is looking for a creative and passionate Social Media& Content Specialist who lives and breathes social media. Reporting to the Marketing Manager,you'llhelp bring our brands and stories to life by creating engaging content acrossNch'ḵay̓ and our growing portfolio of operating businessesincluding our real estate projects. From community events and construction milestones to business launches, employee stories, and behind-the-scenes moments,you'llcapture authentic content that reflects who we are and the impactwe'recreating.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable filming on an iPhone, editing a Reel, planning a content calendar, andidentifyingthe nextgreat storybefore anyone else does.You'llbe responsible forcreating and managing content across multiple social media channels while helping to grow our audiences, strengthen engagement, andshowcasethe work happening across our organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being out in the community, and is passionate about storytelling through social media. Content Creation
Capture photo and video content acrossNch'ḵay̓ and our operating businesses. Create engaging social-first content including Reels, TikToks, Stories, carousels,photographyand short-form video. Edit video and photography using industry-leading tools.
Stay ahead of social trends while ensuring contentremainsauthentic to our organization and community.
Social Media Management
Manage day-to-day social media execution across multiple brands and channels. Develop andmaintainmonthly content calendars. Schedule and publish content. Monitor performance and recommend opportunities to improve engagement and reach.
Support community management by monitoring comments and messages and escalating issues when needed. Attend community events, project milestones, employee activities, and business initiatives to capture content in real time. Work closely with communications, marketing, communityengagementand business teams to bring campaigns to life.
Monitor and report on social media performance across all channels using analytics and reporting tools. Track key performance indicators andprovideactionable insights to improve content, audience engagement, and campaign performance. Use data and audience insights tooptimizecontent strategies and inform future planning. 3+ years of experience creating content and managing social media for a brand or organization. ~ Exceptional photography and short-form video creation skills. ~ Experience editing content using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite,CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro or similar platforms. ~ Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn,TikTokand emerging platforms. ~ Excellent writing and storytelling skills. ~ Strong planning and organizational abilities with the ability to manage multiple brands and priorities. ~ Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the Lower Mainland to capture content.
