Design and develop Norstar product lines using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor) Translate concepts into detailed production-ready designs, including drafting and dimensioning and performing basic analysis (e.g., Create accurate production drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, and cost efficiency Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and sales teams Provide design support to production,
including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Contribute to continuous product improvement and innovation initiatives Partner with the Design Team to support shared goals and project timelines Adhere to company safety standards, policies, and procedures Hands-on experience with 3D CAD design (Autodesk Inventor required not AutoCAD) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical design software Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) Experience in grain handling equipment or agricultural manufacturing Competitive Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 CAD, based on experience and technical proficiency (particularly with Autodesk Inventor and manufacturing design) Reliable, full-time opportunity with consistent weekday schedule Work on tangible, real-world products used across the agricultural industry Opportunity to contribute to product innovation and continuous improvement #
