The Mission

As First Officer, you'll be a critical member of our medevac crew, executing flights in demanding, dynamic environments. You'll apply strong aircraft systems knowledge, current aviation best practices and a calm, professional demeanor to ensure safe operations and outstanding service to patients and partners. This role is designed for pilots committed to progressing toward a future Captain seat.

What You'll Do

- Conduct flights in strict accordance with company SOPs, Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), the Aircraft Flight Manual and the Company Operations Manual.
- Assist the Pilot-in-Command with all phases of flight management and execute cockpit procedures with precision.
- Fuel the aircraft and complete thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections on behalf of the Captain.
- Lift, load and secure patients, cargo, baggage and freight; assist medical crew when required and appropriate.
- Deliver clear, compliant passenger briefings and maintain continuous communication with crew and flight followers to ensure efficient medevac transfers.
- Actively participate in the company’s SMS; maintain and exceed Transport Canada qualification standards.
- Continuously develop flying skills and aircraft knowledge with a view to progressing to Captain.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support safe, on-time operations and passenger comfort.

What You Bring

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL), current Group 1 Instrument Rating and valid Cat 1 Medical.
- Minimum 500 hours total flight time.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal, written and listening skills.




- Canadian citizen or unrestricted authorization to work in Canada; able to obtain and maintain applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations.
- Valid passport and valid driver’s licence.
- Thorough knowledge of aviation regulations; current aviation knowledge and strong aircraft mechanical understanding.
- Required checks: Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
- Asset: Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training; demonstrated respect for First Nations communities.
- Professionalism, respect and service orientation; dependable with strong commitment to on-time performance.
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving, analytical skills, integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; effective time management, multitasking, prioritization and relationship-building across departments and with customers/partners.

Physical & Operational Requirements

- Physically able to lift, load and secure patients, cargo, baggage and freight; assist medical crew when appropriate.
- Comfort working indoors, outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
- Ability to travel by aircraft and other means; work a flexible schedule and travel for extended periods.
- Willingness to accept remote-base assignments as required by operations.
