As part of the Purchasing team you will be responsible for providing purchasing expertise to support our global internal and external customers. Expedites supplies and ensuring proper delivery.

Assists in administration of national vendor contracts. Responsible for purchasing database organization, update, and maintenance. Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures.

Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple projects. Excellent computer skills including proficiency with databases, Internet searching, and Microsoft Office suites (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Experience using ERP or MRP software including NAV and Oracle.

Excellent

English communication skills (written and verbal). Good customer service skills. Second language - Spanish or French an asset. Completion of post-secondary education in supply chain, procurement, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supply chain or procurement role. Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities. Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day.

Ability to communicate via telephone and e-mail without assistance. Estimated pay of $30.63 CAD per hour at the time of posting, additional shift premiums available for afternoon and night shifts Comprehensive advantages based on employee status, including extended medical, dental,
