Overview
Osprey Medical Clinic is looking for an MOA to join a new family practice. We currently have full-time and part-time MOA positions (flexible hours) available. You will be working alongside our physicians to provide front end administrative duties for our small team.
Responsibilities
- Perform MOA duties including but not limited to;
- Answering Phones
- Booking Appointments
- Rooming Patients
- Performing patient Measures
- Record keeping
- Referrals
- Exam room Set-up and clean-up
- Patient Registration
- Scanning and Electronic Filing,
- Maintaining electronic medical records
- Creating patient letters and invoices
- Processing private and MSP Billing.
- Operate all required equipment
- Maintaining overall tidiness of the office.
- Other duties as required
Requirements (Education, Training and Experience)
- Medical Office Assistant Diploma, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Office Assistant (or equivalent)
- OSCAR EMR knowledge is an asset
Requirements: Skills and Abilities
- Strong Command of Computers including: Electronic Medical Records, MS Office Suite, Electronic Faxing.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems.
- Works well in a team.
- Works in an organized manner.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Effective decision making skills and problem solving abilities.
- Is punctual and reliable, as well as professional in appearance and actions
Language:
- English (required)
- Punjabi/Hindi (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time/Part-time Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
